South African Fashion Week to launch e-commerce site

November 27, 2013 (South Africa)

South African Fashion Week (SAFW) is all set to launch its first-ever online store which will feature designs picked up right from the glitzy event’s runway shows.

Scheduled to be premiered on December 6, 2013, the e-commerce site is aimed to serve as a platform for the SAFW participants to show and sell their creations directly to the customers.

Leading design labels like Black Coffee, Clive Rundle, Anmari Honiball, Lunar, Guillotine and Superella will offer few of their latest catwalk ensembles as well as pieces from their previous collections at discounted prices and in sizes less than 34 on the web store.

Since its inception in 1996, SAFW has been introducing various distribution channels, such as pop-up shops, Buyers Lounge and Fashion Wednesdays, to encourage its designers.
