Versace, the famed Italian
fashion house, has revealed the first-ever look of its much-awaited
Spring/Summer-2014 campaign, starring popular American pop-singer Lady
Gaga.
Designed under the guidance of Milan-based
label’s 58-year-old artistic director Donatella Versace, the yet to be
released collection is titled as Lady Gaga for Versace.
The line’s new advertisement, shot by the famous fashion photography
duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, showcases the 27-year-old record
producer in an elegant, curve-defining, ruched lavender-hued Versace
dress, detailed with knotted bandage accents and gilded silver pins.
Known for her outlandish fashion choices, Lady Gaga has earlier been
seen sporting Versace dresses in quite a few public and stage
appearances, such as in her 2011 music video Edge of Glory, Born This
Way concert tour in 2012 and at the just held American Music Awards.
Founded in 1978, the Versace Group designs, markets and distributes
luxury clothing, accessories, and makeup and home furnishings.
